How to: Dress a body chain.

Well i recently added a new item to my accessories collection, a sick body chain. I've never seen one like this one so i had to have it. I got it from a little accessory boutique called Body Candy. It's super heavy and since it is a chain it easily gets tangled but other then that it's a great piece of jewelry. So here is what i would wear with my new body chain. You can accommodate any piece of clothing with it. You don't have to have exactly what i'm wearing.

Outfit #1 Little Black Dress, Big bold chain.

With this outfit i kept the clothing very simple and the accessories very bold. Since the chain is already a lot, i thought to go with the black dress. The black dress allows the chain to stand out from the look. You can pair this with a colored jacket, here the jacket is a suede like material and it contrast with the texture of the dress. The jacket will work on cooler summer nights. With the shoes i chose two pair, black MK's with silver detail and some simple black oxfords. I chose two pair because you could dress this outfit up or down. I have some simple studded clip-on earrings, and a cheap rhinestoned bracelet and a simple black statement ring.

Outfit #2 Who wears short shorts?

With this outfit i matched the body chain with sailor styled high wasted shorts, with silver buttons and zipper. Along with it i paired it with a grey and a white tank. The white tank has tool roses detailed by the collar but you can't see it on camera. Okay, with the shoes i don't really have a large variety of shoes but i paired it with the black oxfords and some silver oxfords. I didn't know which ones to choose so i chose both pair. And the earrings i chose were small grey circular earrings.

Outfit #3 Simple is the way to go!

  

For the 3rd outfit i put on a pink see through, cut-out tank with some skinnies and a black bandeau underneath. Number one rule with this chain is to keep your outfit SIMPLE. I paired it with the same oxfords and a pair of circular statement clip-on earrings. and WOALAH! That's all.

Outfit #4 Sporting with my chain.

For this final outfit I have on the same jeans from outfit 3 and a graphic tee. On one outfit i paired it with a jean jacket and the other outfit with a leather vest. I chose to wear my only pair of Jordans, a DIY bracelet, a Kid Cudi bracelet, and some silver wrapped hoop earrings.

Well that's all I have so far. I will definitely be wearing this chain out and i will find more outfits to wear with it. I wish i had a larger collection of shoes but until i get more, bare with the same beat-down shoes. Don't mind the busy backgrounds, my walls are in preparation for being painted so my backgrounds are kind of ugly, but anyways, I hope you enjoyed and try to put your own spin on my outfits.

DIY: How to Fringe a Shirt.

I love snipping a cutting shirts so i thought. Why not show you guys how to do it, If you don't already know. :) It's really simple to do. You don't have to just fringe the bottom you could also fringe the sleeves or maybe even the collar. I will also post a picture of the bottom fringe with no sleeves. I hope you enjoy this easy DIY. 

Materials:

Shirt

Ruler

Scissor

Light colored washable marker

1. Get all of your materials and lay your shirt out flat.

2.Measure 4 inches from the bottom of your shirt. Use your marker to mark it. Do the same for the other side and then connect the lines with a horizontal line.

3.Measure 1 inch vertical line from the bottom of the shirt to marked line. Keep drawing them until you reach the end.

4. Cut the vertical lines. Make sure you cut the back piece as well. It saves time.

5. You could keep the shirt like this or you could knot it. When you knot the shirt you make a loop at the top and pull the bottom peice into the loop. Pull. Make sure you knot is where you want it, it could be in the middle, top, bottom, or both. 

Done!

It's a really simple thing to do to shirts that spices them up. If you have noticeable marks on your shirt just throw it in the washing machine and it should come right off. I LOVE fringing and i do it to as many shirts as i can. :)

DIY: Turn a broken earring into a ring.

So i have a bunch of earrings that have broken and i didn't know what to do with them. So i thought, hey lets turn them into something different. This is how i turned my broken earring into a ring.

This is what you'll need:

-Your broken earring (This one is a clip on earring the clip just broke off)

-A ring back (This one came from a broken ring where the back broke off from the ornament on the ring but you can buy the backs of rings in bulk on Ebay)

-And super glue (Here i'm using gorilla glue and the way you apply this glue is a little different from your average super glue)

1. Since were using gorilla glue you have to apply it a different way in order to get your ring to stay. So first take a damp cloth and wipe down the ring were your going to be applying the glue.

2. Apply the glue to the part of the ring where you're going to be placing the earring.

3. Then attach the two pieces. It should take an hour to dry and when its dry it'll be nice a secure.

Curvy's Stydols!

Okay. Let me explain the title! Stydol just means Style Idol. I simply combined the two.

Now that we have settled that, I would like to introduce you to my Stydols! I have 2. Just 2. Totally opposite! One day, I may feel super girly! The next, I may feel very rocker-ish, or like a tomboy. Hmm, Who are they?

Yep! Rihanna. I mean, everyone knows I'm obsessed with her style! She is so beautiful and remarkable at her career. I look up to her! Most of the things she wears I get inspired to find for myself! I also have red hair so I try to not look like I'm mocking her but I do sample some things she wears. When I am feeling a bit edgy, I tend to channel my inner Rihanna. Can you blame me? She is fierce! Everything she wears I LOVE!

 

I just love her! She is so brave with her fashion choices. Not to mention, she is always being different! Her hair always changes, her style, her beauty! But one thing remains the same. She will always be my Stydol!

Taylor Swift! How can you not love her?! She is beautiful, fun, and a great person. I wish I could meet her! One day I plan to.
Anyhoo, I love her style because it is super girly and fashionable. I love her music and when I listen to it, I picture outfits that go with it. It seems like her style is a reflection of her fun, upbeat songs. Maybe that's how I look at it. But there is no doubt she is bomb!

2012 Grammy's fashions: Best and Worst by Curveless.

These are the outfits I adored. They are in order from most liked.

Taylor Swift had my absolute favorite outfit on. Her hair to the back with that gorgeous dress on made her Best Dressed in my book. 

Lykke Li looks very professional. I love the suit, well i love everything. Kate's dress is so gorgeous. So simple and i love the drapery. Rihanna is HOT. Simple but yet a wonderful statement dress. Adele is doing it big. I love the sparkle and the black but i want to see her in some color. Bravo ladies. Keep it up!

Mens outfits i loved!!

David Guetta's suit he had on was sharp. It was casual but yet fancy. I love the added stud details on the collar of the blazer and the shoes. 

Common looks well put together just like David its casual but yet fancy. Adam is just hot and clean, but that girl of his is not and dirty. Bruno looks sharp as always.

Women's outfit i thought could stay home!!! In order from worst outfit to worst outfit.

Now i was really disappointed with these ladies they're out fits are horrible and you should be able to see why.

Robyn has on Timberland creepers on with a white high to low skirt and a white t-shirt... This is the Grammy's, You're not out on the street. Please fix that. 

Nicki is trying to be little red riding hood. Bonnie is trying to be a robot Lady Gaga. (Although i do love her shoes) Skylar grey looks like she has a table cloth on. Anne looks like she didn't want to have anything on. and Taraji looks like a wanna-be mermaid. Sorry ladies i love your movies and you're music but just not your choice in outfit tonight.

Mens outfit i thought could have been better. These aren't in any particular order.

The worst for me is Rick Ross. It's just a no. Let's dress up a little more can we?

Sum 41 just doesn't look good. I can't explain it. Swiss looks like his jacket and tie were made out of a plush toy. and LL looks good i just don't like his Jacket. It makes him look boxy on top.

Outfit i thought were lovely! But not the best. Still great looking though.

I really do love Kelly's dress, It's spectacular but i think she could have done more and her hair should have been pinned up. Other then that great job picking out that dress! 

I love Lilly dress! I just wish it had no sleeves. The sleeves are throwing me off a bit.

Lady Antebellum look great but Hillary's dress isn't my favorite. The color in her mid-section actually makes her mid section look bigger. but i do love her dress. I think Amber Rose's dress is beautiful. but it's so plain. I do love the color on her!

I've noticed a trend when i looked at the fashions, and that it gold accessories. Everyone had either a gold waste band, necklace, and/or clutch. Is this the trend? I really loved the gold waste band Juliana, Paris, and others had. I also liked the necklace. Alicia Keys had. This trend isn't bad at all as long as you put it to use in the right way.

Well that's my Hot and Not of the 2012 Grammy's i thought they had a good show and the winners deserved to win especially Adele. I love her, but overall everyone did a marvelous job! Thumbs up!
